  • Chinese Story Time - Little Mouse Wants an Apple

    One-Time Class

    In this one-time class, students will hear a popular children’s book " Little Mouse Wants an Apple" by Yoshio Nakae in Mandarin. The students will learn repetitive phrases, drawing, singing, role play, and more in the Chinese language.

  • Class Experience

    The class will start by singing a "hello" song in Chinese.
    Play an Ice-break game. I will guide the younger learner introduce themself and say hello to each other.
    I will use PowerPoint or Google slides to show the students the story and main vocabulary.
    We will draw the main character of the story and learning some simple Chinese Characters.
    We will learn repetitive phrases and sing together using different tones.
    We will role-play the story.
    We will be singing a "goodbye" song in Chinese.
    No previous Chinese knowledge required.
